Big Bag Mixing Unit
The Big Bag Mixing Unit (BBMU) enables safe, dust-free handling and unloading of big bags. Paired with a six-inch shear mixer, it mixes 1,500 kg of product in under five minutes. A bag slitter opens the disposable bag, and vacuum suction ensures rapid mixing, while the lifting assembly keeps the bag taut for efficient product flow.

Offshore Rigs
Mud Circulation And Transfer
Drilling fluid, or liquid mud, is a weighted liquid created by mixing bentonite for gelling and adding barite to increase density, preventing formation fluid influx. Barite remains suspended but undissolved, requiring circulation to maintain suspension. The mud circulation system, using eductors and an agitator tailored to tank geometry, ensures proper fluid rheology and internal flow.

Mud Mixing System
Producing drilling mud that stabilizes the hole, controls pressure and minimizes formation damage demands efficient solutions. Lion’s mud mixing systems, integrated with bulk handling, offer a complete package for modern rigs. The Ruyter Offshore eductor adds bentonite and barite to create mud, while the Twin Jet Stream SMX prevents dust and plugging, ensuring thorough, efficient mixing.

Offshore Support Vessels
Sender Tank System
The sender tank system is a bulk handling system using several atmospheric, hull-integrated hoppers to transport cement and drilling powders from shore to offshore destinations. Material is loaded pneumatically from shore. Small pressure tanks underneath the hoppers are filled and pressurised for unloading to a rig to pneumatically convey the bulk material through the pipe and hose routing.

Re-loader Tank System
The re-loader or double re-loader tank systems are used to store dry bulk material onboard offshore vessels. The system uses several atmospheric hoppers to store cement and drilling powders. The material enters a re-loader tank, which is then pressurised to convey the powder towards the rig tanks pneumatically. Vacuum is used to remove material from the hoppers.

Offshore Support Vessels
Pressure Tank System
The pressure tank or P-tank system is a conventional system used on Offshore Vessels. The system deploys several pressure tanks to receive, store and discharge cement and drilling powders on board. Dry bulk cargo is fluidized in the tanks by compressed air, then discharged via the pipes and hoses to the rig tanks. The bulk material is loaded and unloaded pneumatically, using compressed air to convey the powder.
